About The Position

The Snack Bar Attendant receives guests’ food and beverage orders, prepares and serves items according to established service standards, and handles cash and other payment transactions while maintaining an accurate bank. The role includes preparing a variety of foods and beverages, packaging orders, maintaining stock, and keeping the work area clean and organized. The attendant follows applicable health codes and company guidelines, operates necessary equipment, works in a fast-paced environment, and communicates guest feedback to the appropriate supervisor. The position may also include serving ready-to-drink alcoholic beverages.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must have excellent customer service skills.
• Must be able to sit, walk, grasp, bend, lift, reach, pull, push, kneel, squat, and stand for the entire shift.
• Must be able to lift and maneuver up to 40 pounds.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain any necessary licenses and certifications and keep them current.
• Must be able to obtain an ATC liquor permit.

Nice To Haves

• Prior food handling experience.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Knowledge of payment methods, including cash, comps, coupons, credit cards, and gift certificates.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests, take food and beverage orders, and enter orders into the point-of-sale system.
• Complete cash, credit, and other payment transactions and maintain an accurate bank.
• Prepare orders promptly, including preparing, grilling, frying, carving, baking, and making pizzas and sandwiches, following standard recipes.
• Bag orders; prepare beverages and food trays; and wrap food items for convenient access.
• Follow applicable state, federal, and OSHA health codes and company guidelines.
• Operate necessary equipment and maintain a clean, organized work area.
• Obtain food, beverages, condiments, and supplies from the kitchen or stockroom; deliver them to the outlet and maintain stock levels in the outlet and work stations.
• Relay guest complaints and compliments to the appropriate supervisor.
• Perform other related duties as directed by management.
• Serve ready-to-drink alcoholic beverages.
