Snack Bar Attendant
About The Position
The Snack Bar Attendant prepares and serves food and beverages in the snack bar, beverage cart, and Caddie’s Cantina. The role provides prompt, efficient, and gracious service to guests, including taking orders, preparing food and beverages, handling transactions, and bussing tables. The attendant maintains adequate stocks of food, beverages, and supplies; keeps work areas clean and safe; and follows food-service, company, health, and safety procedures. The position also involves opening and/or closing the snack bar, attending mandatory meetings, cross-training, and performing other assigned tasks.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- English fluency.
- Some food-industry experience, with emphasis on fast-food experience.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and efficient.
- Able to learn quickly and maintain a safety-minded approach.
- High standards for production and service quality.
- Diplomatic and calm, with strong verbal communication skills.
- Courteous, friendly, and professional manner.
- Good team player with a customer-service focus.
- Able to work productively with little supervision.
- Trustworthy and reliable.
- Able to stand and walk short distances throughout a shift.
- Frequently able to handle and move objects weighing up to 25 lbs. over short distances.
- Occasionally able to handle and move objects weighing up to 50 lbs. over long distances using appropriate hand trucks and carts.
- Able to bend, stoop, reach, push, and pull to perform routine tasks; moderate daily use of stairs.

Responsibilities
- Understand and respond to guest needs and requests in a timely and professional manner.
- Open and/or close the snack bar according to specified procedures.
- Take orders, prepare food and beverages as ordered, provide customer service, and bus tables.
- Follow specified procedures for handling transactions.
- Maintain adequate stocks of food, beverages, and supplies to accommodate business needs.
- Meet health and safety standards while performing job tasks.
- Follow food and beverage department and Temecula Creek Inn policies and procedures.
- Immediately report suspicious occurrences and hazardous conditions.
- Maintain clean and safe work areas.
- Practice safe work habits and comply with company and departmental safety rules, including proper equipment handling.
- Attend mandatory meetings as directed.
- Perform other assigned tasks, including cross-training.
