About The Position
Temp To Full-Time Now Hiring: SMT Lead – American Fork, UT Pay: $20.00/hour Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 5:00 AM–3:30 PM LG is seeking a motivated SMT Lead to oversee daily Surface Mount Technology (SMT) production operations. This role is responsible for leading the SMT team, prioritizing production, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring a safe and efficient work environment.
Requirements
- Previous SMT and PCB assembly experience required
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Experience with surface mount machines, hand soldering, and electronic assembly
- Computer proficiency
- Ability to work overtime as needed and thrive in a team environment
Nice To Haves
- IPC-A-610 or J-STD-001 certification preferred
Responsibilities
- Lead and support the SMT production team
- Assign daily production priorities and monitor workflow
- Train, coach, and motivate team members
- Ensure quality standards and production goals are met
- Coordinate with production, engineering, quality, and maintenance teams
- Prepare production reports and track performance
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
