Requirements

Proficient in PCB assembly, SMT and through-hole soldering, and inspection to IPC-A-610 and J-STD-001 Class 3 standards
Skilled in first article and final inspections, rework/repair, and use of X-ray and microscope inspection equipment
Ability to read and interpret assembly documentation, identify electronic components, and perform precise hands-on work with small tools
Detail-oriented with strong quality tracking, defect identification, and continuous improvement skills
2+ years of relevant experience
High school diploma or GED required

Associate’s degree preferred

Responsibilities

Conduct first article and final inspections on PCB assemblies, including X-ray verification of assembly integrity
Perform hand soldering of SMT and through-hole components to IPC-A-610 and J-STD-001 Class 3 standards
Execute rework, repairs, and cleaning of circuit boards using approved methods
Track and document quality data, identify defects, and support process improvements to prevent recurrence
