They are seeking Rework Specialists for their First Quality Baby Products site in Macon, GA, with the primary responsibility being the safe, competent, and efficient operation of packaging sealing equipment.

Requirements

  • Standard knowledge of product codes, general warehouse procedures, Quality procedures, and the radio frequency system.
  • Fundamental computer knowledge or willingness to learn.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to communicate orally and in writing.
  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to operate in a team-oriented environment.
  • High School diploma or equivalent required

Nice To Haves

  • SAP system experience is preferred.
  • Ability to operate all warehouse material handling equipment is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Observe all safety rules and always use the proper safety equipment.
  • Follow necessary GMP, FDA, and ISO regulations/guidelines.
  • Sequentially start up and operate designated packaging equipment, manual hand sealers, and stretch wrappers, and utilize proper procedures competently and productively.
  • Perform quality checks on the finished product according to QA guidelines for each product.
  • Maintain quality standards for the product being produced.
  • Utilize lot code printer to change lot code information and replace ink cartridges.
  • Ensure proper raw materials are in place.
  • Ensure First-Article/Line Clearance is completed before starting a new job.
  • Accurately account product lot codes used for reporting utilizing SAP labeling tags.
  • Utilize Windows-based software to maintain specific product history and information accurately.
  • Keep the repack area and surrounding areas clean and orderly.
  • Assist other team members when required, including assisting with the baling project.
  • Complete all necessary paperwork accurately and properly.
  • Perform other duties as necessary when directed to do so.
