About The Position

This role supports electronics manufacturing operations by operating SMT equipment to produce high-quality circuit board assemblies. The operator is responsible for maintaining safety, quality, and production efficiency standards throughout the manufacturing process.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required
Ability to read and follow work instructions, job travelers, and basic assembly drawings
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to [25–50] pounds as needed
Must be US Person

Nice To Haves

1+ year experience operating SMT equipment preferred (training may be provided for strong candidates)
Familiarity with ESD practices and electronics manufacturing standards is a plus

Responsibilities

Set up and operate SMT equipment including pick-and-place machines, stencil printers, and reflow ovens
Load feeders, components, and program jobs per work instructions and production schedule
Perform first-piece inspections and in-process quality checks
Monitor machine performance and make adjustments to maintain quality and output
Identify and troubleshoot machine issues, jams, or placement defects
Verify correct parts, lot numbers, and configurations per BOM and build documentation
Maintain accurate production records and complete required documentation
Perform routine machine cleaning and basic preventative maintenance
Work closely with Quality, Engineering, and Production teams to resolve issues quickly
Follow all safety procedures, ESD requirements, and clean workspace standards (5S)
