With over twenty-five years of continuous growth, we pride ourselves on delivering fast and accurate results to our global customers while fostering a culture of diversity, employee development, and business success. #Alicat SMT Operator Alicat Scientific, Inc. is seeking an SMT Operator to operate and maintain our Surface Mount Technology (SMT) machines. Duties of the SMT Operator include but are not limited to loading and operating SMT machines, troubleshooting and diagnosing errors, performing quality inspections to identify defects, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace. Experience with Mycronic equipment is preferred, though proficiency with comparable SMT systems will also be considered. Alicat Scientific Inc. has been manufacturing and servicing high-quality mass flow and pressure devices since 1991, growing every year for the past 25 years. Requirements

  • 2-3 years of experience on Mycronic or similar equipment
  • High attention to detail
  • Ability to read PCB layouts and work instructions
  • Basic computer skills
  • Understanding of electronics manufacturing processes

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Mycronic equipment is preferred, though proficiency with comparable SMT systems will also be considered.

Responsibilities

  • loading and operating SMT machines
  • troubleshooting and diagnosing errors
  • performing quality inspections to identify defects
  • maintaining a clean and organized workspace
  • Prepare and load machines
  • Inspect boards for defects (misaligned components, solder bridges, etc.)
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose errors and adjust machines to improve placement accuracy
  • Clean and maintain equipment
  • Record production data, defects, and machine performance
  • Work with engineers, quality teams, and production supervisors to keep the line running smoothly
