About The Position
We are a manufacturer of audio and video infrastructure equipment for the television broadcast and film industry. This role is for an SMT Inspector/Repairer working from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, Monday through Friday.
Requirements
- Grade 12 graduate.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in Hand Soldering and assembly
- Ability to communicate effectively ( written and verbal)
- Able to read drawing, values and correct polarity of Surface Mount components
- General knowledge of Electronic components and manufacturing processes
- Experience working in a Production environment or working with similar equipment.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the parts and the location are installed in the board is as per the BOM.
- Solder and repair/rework of SMT components.
- Meeting manufacturing and quality targets.
- Compliance with all Tech Digital Policies and Procedures
- Maintenance and Cleanliness of workplace
- Perform other tasks as required
