About The Position

Ampcus Inc. is seeking a highly motivated Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Financial and IT Modeling & Analytics to provide expert guidance on complex models and analytical tools. This role involves partnering with leadership to drive business and model transformation and innovation. The SME will synthesize and articulate business requirements for shared economic and mortgage cashflow models, assess model effectiveness, and ensure models are appropriately tested and monitored. They will coordinate with cross-functional teams throughout the model management lifecycle, ensuring alignment with usage goals. Additionally, the SME will stay informed about regulatory requirements and internal standards, ensuring compliance and escalating non-compliance. This role serves as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, offering insights and recommendations for prioritization, balancing accuracy, speed, cost, and governance. The SME will also support leadership in driving consensus, prioritizing requirements, and resolving findings from reviewers.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert guidance on complex models and analytical tools, partnering with leadership to drive business and model transformation and innovation.
• Synthesize and articulate different business usages and their requirements for shared economic and mortgage cashflow models.
• Assess model effectiveness and fit for use across multiple business usages, ensure that models are appropriately tested and monitored, provide insights on the model drivers and limitations.
• Coordinate and partner with cross-functional teams through the model management life cycles, ensuring alignment of model changes / adjustments with usage goals and objectives.
• Stay abreast of regulatory requirements as well as internal standards and procedures, ensuring compliance with the enterprise standards and escalate non-compliance.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, offering insights and recommendations for prioritizations balancing accuracy, speed, cost and governance.
• Support leadership to drive consensus and prioritize requirements, vetting, testing, and adjustments across user groups, resolve or escalate findings from reviewers.
