SMAW Welder–Fabricator, Manufacturing Maintenance
About The Position
Are you a stick welder with true millwright chops? If you thrive on solving mechanical problems and love turning prints into production‑ready solutions, this role is for you. Join our manufacturing/recycling operation in Chapel Glen, IN (West Indianapolis) at $40/hour, with opportunities to work 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift (8‑hour days). What you'll do Keep equipment running with preventative and corrective maintenance. Troubleshoot using schematics, blueprints, and technical documentation; repair mechanical systems quickly and safely. Install new plant machinery and perform fabrication to support start‑ups and upgrades. Repair and maintain pumps, piping, gearboxes, and conveyor systems. Carry out steel fabrication, structural fixes, and modifications to sustain operations. Uphold EHS practices and encourage safe work habits in every task. What you'll bring 2–3 years in industrial maintenance, millwright work, or machine repair within manufacturing. Fluent in reading and applying blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals. Must pass an S.M.A.W. (stick welding) test and demonstrate sound knowledge of metals and safe welding technique. Comfort using computer systems for documentation and work orders (CMMS exposure a plus). Must have Mechanical Maintenance / Millwright ability . Requirements
- 2–3 years in industrial maintenance, millwright work, or machine repair within manufacturing.

- Must pass an S.M.A.W. (stick welding) test and demonstrate sound knowledge of metals and safe welding technique.
- Must have Mechanical Maintenance / Millwright ability
