About The Position

SMART Tech (Skilled, Mentored, And Real-World Trained) Truck Mechanic - Diesel Technician - Entry Level. Clarke Vehicare is looking for a S.M.A.R.T Technician to maintain our commitment to safety and customer service. This role involves using smartphone, laptop, and tablet technology to record all repairs. This is a Mentorship Training Program where a trainee will work alongside experienced mentor mechanics, gaining a wide range of real-world experience in diesel truck repair. Candidates must be currently enrolled in a Diesel Repair Program or have previous exposure to and a strong interest in truck mechanics.

Must currently be enrolled in a Diesel Repair Program or have previous exposure to and strong interest in truck mechanics.
Desire and Ability to learn
Strong Work Ethic
Must be able to Work Independently
Standard Tech Owned Tools Required
Must be current student at college or technical school
Auto and Preventative Maintenance Techs encouraged to apply
Must be able to obtain DOT Med Card

Responsibilities

Use of smartphone, laptop and tablet technology to record all repairs.
Light & Medium Duty Truck Repair
Implement and enforce Health and Safety rules, regulations, policies, procedures, and prescribed instructions.
