About The Position

SMART Tech (Skilled, Mentored, And Real-World Trained) Truck Mechanic - Diesel Technician - Entry Level. Clarke Vehicare is looking for a S.M.A.R.T Technician to maintain their commitment to safety and customer service. This role involves using smartphone, laptop, and tablet technology to record all repairs. It's an opportunity to grow knowledge and apply skills in a company offering competitive salary, comprehensive benefits, and career growth. This is a Mentorship Training Program where a trainee will work in the shop with experienced mentor mechanics, gaining a wide range of real-world experience related to diesel truck repair. Candidates must be currently enrolled in a Diesel Repair Program or have previous exposure to and a strong interest in truck mechanics.

Requirements

• Must currently be enrolled in a Diesel Repair Program or have previous exposure to and strong interest in truck mechanics.
• Desire and Ability to learn.
• Strong Work Ethic.
• Must be able to Work Independently.
• Standard Tech Owned Tools Required.
• Must be current student at college or technical school.
• Must be able to obtain DOT Med Card.

• Auto and Preventative Maintenance Techs encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Use of smartphone, laptop and tablet technology to record all repairs.
• Work in shop with experienced mentor mechanics.
• Gain a wide range of real-world experience related to diesel truck repair.
• Perform Light & Medium Duty Truck Repair.
• Implement and enforce Health and Safety rules, regulations, policies, procedures, and prescribed instructions.
