Small Parts Assembler (7am - 3:30pm M-F)
About The Position
Build through-hole (THT) and surface mount (SMT) printed circuit board assemblies, placing components on boards per controlled parts lists, drawing documentation and quality workmanship guidelines. Intervala utilizes and/or develops certain technologies which are subject to the U.S. Export Administration Regulations (EAR) or the U.S. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). Intervala is required to verify the status of all employees to determine whether each employee is a U.S. Person or a Foreign Person for the purposes of determining if an export authorization is required to approve an employee’s access to export-controlled items, not as a condition for hire. Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, job orders, specifications, drawings, schematics, process sheets, wiring diagrams, and small print
- Component identification skills
- Ability to perform component prep using hand tools and tooling
- Ability to work with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail to produce quality results
- Ability to work in a high volume, high detail work environment
- Ability to read, comprehend and follow instructions (including small print)
- Ability to manipulate and work with tedious and small parts
Nice To Haves
- previous manufacturing experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Build through-hole (THT) and surface mount (SMT) printed circuit board assemblies, placing components on boards per controlled parts lists, drawing documentation and quality workmanship guidelines.
- Cut and form (prep) components
- Perform manual placement of THT components
- Assemble chassis components using a variety of hardware
- Assemble electromechanical devices using a variety of hardware
- Recommend changes in documentation to ensure high quality results
