About The Position
We are Stockton's longest running Ace Hardware store. Family owned and operated for over 40 years. We are currently seeking a highly motivated, professional small engine mechanic for a fast-paced customer service-based work environment. Someone who possesses a strong work ethic, and is willing to take on tasks assigned, as well as assisting our customers. Being the best at customer service is what we are known for. We need someone with extensive knowledge and experience with small engine service and repair. Excellent communication skills Being the best at customer service is what we are known for. We need someone who is able to identify our customers' needs, as well as clearly communicating solutions for them. Professional appearance Professionalism and overall appearance are crucial for us and our stores image. We need someone who is punctual with reliable transportation to and from work every day.
Requirements
- Experience in small engine repair
- Reliable transportation to and from work

Responsibilities
- Assisting customers with their needs
- Diagnosing and servicing a variety of gas outdoor power equipment
- Maintaining the small engine repair shop
- Completing STIHL outdoor power training
