About The Position

Flynn Calgary is searching for an experienced Mechanic to join our team! Flynn Group of Companies is the leading trade contractor in North America that works on virtually every aspect of a building’s outer layer, including Roofing, Glazing, Waterproofing, and Architectural Metals. The foundation of our award winning success is having the right people on our team. We use an AI-powered system to initially screen resumes. However, all applications/resumes are also reviewed by our team of Human Resources and Talent Acquisition Professionals to ensure a fair and thorough evaluation in determining a candidate’s potential fit for a role they applied to. Requirements

Valid Class 5 Driver’s License
Small Engine ticket
Clean drivers abstract
Strong problem solving skills
Strong communication and organizational skills
Detail orientated
Team player with a proactive, safety oriented mind set

Nice To Haves

Heavy Duty Equipment ticket is an asset
Ability to run telehandler and skid-steer

Responsibilities

Ensure all tools and small engine equipment are to manufactures spec and are kept in a safe working condition
Troubleshoot and repair equipment
Perform scheduled maintenance service on equipment
Order necessary parts for repairs
Use various hand tools and mechanical equipment
Keep all paper work current
General labour duties as required
