About The Position

North 40 Outfitters is looking to hire a Full-Time Small Engine Mechanic to join our Great Falls Service Shop. We believe that each team member plays a vital role in the success of our company. As a Small Engine Mechanic at North 40, your main priority will be to troubleshoot and repair small engines on a variety of equipment. You will regularly work with customers to diagnose equipment, provide solutions, and review completed work.

Ability to troubleshoot and repair small engine equipment
Heavy electrical knowledge for generator repairs and light electrical and body knowledge for trailer repairs
Understanding of correct lifting and loading techniques.
Physical ability to lift and carry 0-25 lbs. continuously, 25-45 lbs. frequently, and 45-65 lbs. occasionally, and team lift anything over 65 lbs.
Spending 100% of work time on your feet, including use of ladders, rolling staircases and pallet jacks.

Nice To Haves

Previous mechanical experience preferred
Ability to be Honda, STIHL, and Husqvarna certified
