About The Position

The Small Engine & Electrical Equipment Repair Technician repairs electrical equipment and equipment powered by small gasoline engines. Repairs may take place in a warehouse or in the field. The technician tracks repaired equipment by asset number and orders parts to keep repairs moving smoothly. The role is based in the Chesterfield office and requires a Monday–Friday schedule of 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., with extended hours as needed to complete onsite and emergency repairs.

Requirements

Valid driver's license with a good driving record.
Ability to lift 50+ pounds.
Ability to stand on feet for extended periods.
Ability to work 7:30 a.m.–5 p.m., Monday–Friday, with extended hours as necessary to complete onsite and emergency repairs.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to use an iPad or laptop.
Hard-working, self-motivated, dependable, and strong work ethic; strives to exceed expectations.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot and repair electrical equipment, including air movers, dehumidifiers, air scrubbers, compressors, floor scrapers, extraction devices, portable steam cleaning equipment, and floor scrubbers.
Troubleshoot and repair equipment with small gasoline engines, including portable generators, air compressors, duct vacuums, and insulation vacuums.
Repair equipment in a warehouse setting and/or in the field.
Track and record repaired equipment by asset number.
Order necessary parts to keep repairs flowing smoothly.
