Role Description As a Small Business (SMB) Sales Coordinator, you will be an integral member of a multi-person team of Commercial Sales Coordinators. The team’s primary objective is to support GFiber’s Commercial Customers and Sales team members from the time the Customer signs up for service until service is installed and active. The SMB Sales Coordinators will be the lead point of contact for the Technical Operations (TechOps) and Sales teams for several metro areas.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 3 years of sales or customer service experience.
  • Experience with Google Sheets and/or Excel.
  • 1 year of experience collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to work non-standard working hours including earlier mornings and nights across multiple domestic time zones.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience working in a CRM database; Salesforce preferred.
  • Direct sales or related experience with proven results.
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively in both written and verbal formats.
  • Proficient customer service skills with the ability to resolve customer challenges, complaints, and concerns.
  • Demonstrated experience in creative and persistent problem solving.

Responsibilities

  • Be a subject matter expert in GFiber’s products, policies, contracts, and processes.
  • Track pending commercial installations to ensure they are scheduled and installed on time.
  • Update tracking tools and Salesforce, as needed.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by proactively reaching out to schedule appointments and promptly responding to all inquiries (phone, email, etc.) to answer questions and resolve concerns.
  • Partner with the TechOps team to help ensure each customer gets connected in a timely manner.
  • Escalate customer concerns and issues to the local TechOps and Sales leadership teams, as needed.
  • Help catalog customer feedback, product enhancements, and competitive intel.
  • Show due care and attention to detail, ensuring work is right the first time.
  • Foster and maintain a sense of teamwork and community.
