About The Position

Nusenda Credit Union is seeking a Small Business Loan Administrator to support small business loan clients and business banking services. This role involves Laser Pro documentation, real estate title insurance and binders, and working directly with Small Business Relationship Managers and members throughout the loan pre-funding, closing, and post-closing processes. The administrator will perform complex administrative support for small business loans, review documentation for accuracy and completeness, coordinate closings, and maintain ongoing records. A key aspect of the role is applying knowledge of Small Business Administration (SBA) eligibility requirements, ensuring documentation accuracy, and coordinating with SBRMs and Underwriters. The position requires proactive account support, record keeping, and independent task prioritization.

Requirements

  • One year to three years of similar or related experience
  • Associates degree, two-year degree or similar
  • Experience in multi-tasking, meeting strict deadlines, dealing with sensitive information, and problem resolution while providing exceptional service.
  • Must be knowledgeable in Microsoft Office and all internal systems as affiliated with the department.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to change and proactively communicate.

Responsibilities

  • Perform complex administrative support for small business loans including reviewing documentation for accuracy and completeness, coordinating closings, and maintaining ongoing records.
  • Apply knowledge of Small Business Administration (SBA) eligibility requirements to related requests, ensuring documentation requirements and required forms and checklists are accurate, coordinating with Small Business Relationship Managers (SBRM) and Underwriters.
  • Proactively operate on account support and record keeping and independently prioritize tasks and follow through on assignments.
  • Work with Small Business Underwriters, to help collect eligibility documentation and required forms, coordinate SBA-specific closing checklists, and route files to the appropriate internal teams for review and submission as applicable.
  • Effectively communicate with internal and external customers appropriately via in person, email etc.
  • Ensure compliance with Credit Union policies and procedures related to areas of responsibilities.
