Our business has been running for 30 years, and we are the number one trusted partner to studios and producers for public performance licensing. We work with every major Hollywood studio and hundreds of independents, and we work hard to educate organizations about the importance of respecting copyright. MPLC is a key player in the entertainment and intellectual property ecosystem. Requirements

  • Comfortable with high call volumes and multi-timezone outreach.
  • Comfortable with the fact that some days results won't match the effort.
  • Communicator — thoughtful and empathetic with prospects and teammates alike.
  • Persistent and resilient — you bounce back from rejection and keep moving.
  • Decisive — you move quickly and make calls without needing hand-holding.
  • Team player — collaborative, but self-sufficient in a fully remote environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Experienced in sales or cold calling (preferred, not required)
  • Comfortable with tech sales tools — Outreach, Gong, and Salesforce are a plus

Responsibilities

  • Help businesses secure the legal rights they need to show movies and TV in public and commercial spaces — and grow MPLC’s customer base in the process.
  • Own a high-volume outbound sales desk: prospecting, cold calling, and closing new SMB accounts across the U.S.
  • Take ownership of the full sales cycle — from prospecting and cold outreach to closing — helping businesses get the licensing they need to show content compliantly.
  • Achieve daily call and email targets across PST, MST, CST, and EST time zones.
  • Meet monthly and quarterly targets.
