About The Position

This role involves loading outbound trucks and unloading incoming trucks. Responsibilities include loading and unloading the Vacuum Cooler on designated days, and loading and unloading containers when necessary. The position also requires organizing empty pallets and empty containers, and grading mushrooms for size and quality when needed.

Requirements

Must be able to speak and understand English.

Must have fine motor coordination in hands and arms.
Must be able to balance, stop or crouch.
Must be able to climb stairs.
Must act professionally.
Must be able to think, evaluate, and make decisions.
Must be able to read and understand words and numbers.
Must be willing to learn how to use computers to weight pallets and load trucks.

Nice To Haves

Experience operating the Electric Jack for at least 6 months.
Experience loading and unloading trucks for at least 6 months.
Experience wrapping pallets for at least 6 months.
Computer skills.
Mushroom knowledge.

Responsibilities

Load outbound trucks and unload incoming trucks.
Load and unload Vacuum Cooler on designated days.
Load and unload Containers when necessary.
Organize empty pallets and empty container when necessary.
Grade the mushroom for size and quality when necessary.
Check each pallet, whether loaded or unloaded, ensuring items are counted correctly.
Wrap pallets with several different items in the right way.
Count and double-check all incoming and outgoing pallets.
Write in English on the loading sheets while loading trucks.
Check the pallet labels and load sheets with customer packages to ensure no discrepancies.
Know the load settings and the total number of pallets before starting to load.
Make sure the load is ready for the road.
Be flexible with work hours and able to stay over-time when necessary.
Learn how to use computers to weight pallets and load trucks.
