About The Position

This is a hybrid position involving both inpatient and outpatient services, typically seeing 1-3 adult outpatient cases per day, with the remainder of the caseload in the acute hospital setting. The role requires the ability to independently perform Modified Barium Swallow Studies. The facility is an Acute Care Hospital with 212 total staffed beds. This position is a Non-Billable Orientation (NBO) role, with a reduced 24-hour work week compared to a standard 40-hour week.

Requirements

• 3 Years of experience required - must be independent.
• BLS certification required.
• CCC-SLP certification required.
• State License required.
• Must be able to independently perform Modified Barium Swallow Studies.
• Must reside within a 50-mile radius of the facility.

Responsibilities

• Provide Speech-Language Pathology services in an acute care hospital setting.
• Manage both inpatient and outpatient caseloads.
• Conduct 1-3 adult outpatient evaluations/treatments per day.
• Independently perform Modified Barium Swallow Studies.
