About The Position

The Guest Services Attendant is responsible for supporting the efficient, safe, and guest‑focused operation of the slot floor by monitoring machine performance, assisting players, and ensuring all gaming areas remain fully functional and welcoming. This role plays a critical part in delivering frontline service by responding to guest needs, processing jackpots, troubleshooting machine issues, and providing accurate information about games and casino offerings. Your ability to engage guests with professionalism, resolve concerns promptly, and uphold regulatory and service standards directly contributes to a positive gaming experience and the overall success of Live! Casino & Hotel. As a key ambassador on the casino floor, you help maintain our reputation for exceptional hospitality and operational excellence.

  • Zero to two (2) years of casino slot or direct guest service experience.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain the necessary license as mandated by the Maryland Lottery and Gaming Control Agency.
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time without sitting or leaning.
  • Ability to handle multi-tasking heavy, work-exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and up to 30 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects.
  • Ability to climb, bend, stretch, twist or reach with your body and arms, and work under variable temperatures and noise levels.
  • Ability to use near vision, see details at close range.
  • Frequent standing/walking.
  • Lifting/carrying of up to 25 lbs.
  • Repetitive use of both hands to include light and firm grasping and finger dexterity.
  • Use of stairs and elevators.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure that players have a positive experience by providing the highest level of friendly guest service.
  • Resolving any issues they may have with the machine, such as payment problems or technical difficulties.
  • Collecting jackpots when they occur and helping players who have questions about their winnings.
  • Explaining the rules of each game and providing instructions on how to play.
  • Ensuring that all slot machines are working properly and are always available for play.
  • Handling any customer service issues that may arise including answering questions about game rules, payouts, and other topics related to slot machines.
  • Responsible to take beverage orders from guests and serve those orders accurately and in an expeditious manner.
  • Maintaining knowledge of products available for purchase, events and other casino offerings.
