About The Position

The Guest Services Attendant's essential purpose is to deliver clean, safe golf carts to guests and to provide first-class customer service at all times. This role involves understanding and responding to guest needs, preparing golf carts, maintaining an orderly supply of carts, cleaning clubs, and performing routine daily tasks related to the golf course operations. The attendant will also monitor the cleanliness and safety of the property, assist with special events, and promote the goods and services offered by the golf course. Additionally, the role includes maintaining the golf cart fleet, managing the practice area, issuing rental clubs, cleaning shoes, administering play policies, and ensuring compliance with all company policies and safety procedures.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Minors attending high school must obtain work permit (Form B1-1).

Responsibilities

Understand and respond to all guest needs and requests in a timely and professional manner.
Greet guests upon arrival, provide them with a clean, safe, and properly stocked golf cart, and assist with golf bags.
Maintain an ample and orderly supply of golf carts in appropriate areas.
Approach guests at the end of their round to clean their clubs and assist them with returning their golf carts.
Perform routine daily tasks including collecting and cleaning range balls, storing, cleaning, and charging golf carts, and removing trash from staging areas.
Open and close the bag room and golf cart storage area.
Monitor the cleanliness, order, safety, and aesthetic quality of the property and equipment, reporting service needs immediately.
Participate in the setup and breakdown of clubhouse and golf special events.
Transport golf carts to and from staging and storage areas as needed.
Advise the supervisor of any customer complaints for professional resolution.
Be knowledgeable about all goods and services offered by the golf course and actively promote them to guests.
Engage in the daily cleaning and repairs/maintenance of the golf cart fleet, ensuring proper record-keeping.
Maintain and be responsible for the practice area, including picking up range balls and cleaning them as needed.
Issue and retrieve rental clubs, clean them after use, and ensure all clubs are accounted for and stored properly.
Clean rental and guest shoes and change spikes when necessary.
Administer daily play policies as a Starter and Player Assistant, ensuring the Pace of Play program is followed.
Assist Cart Mechanics as requested.
Promote and comply with all policies and procedures of Temecula Creek Inn.
Immediately report all suspicious occurrences and hazardous conditions.
Maintain the cleanliness and safety of work areas at all times.
Practice safe work habits to avoid injury to self and others, including the safe operation of all power-driven machinery.
Ensure safe work practices of all Golf staff, including compliance with safety rules and regulations and proper use of equipment.
Attend all mandatory meetings.
Perform other tasks, including cross-training, as directed.
