About The Position

The Guest Services Attendant's essential purpose is to deliver clean, safe golf carts to guests and provide first-class customer service at all times. This role involves understanding and responding to guest needs, preparing golf carts, maintaining the cart fleet, and assisting guests with their golf equipment. The attendant will also be responsible for maintaining the practice area, managing rental clubs, cleaning shoes, and assisting with daily play policies and events. A key aspect of the role is promoting the golf course's goods and services and ensuring a safe and clean environment.

Responsibilities

  • Understand and respond to all guest needs and requests in a timely and professional manner.
  • Greet all guests upon their arrival at their cars with a clean, safe and properly stocked golf cart, and assist them with their golf bags.
  • Maintain an ample and orderly supply of golf carts in appropriate areas.
  • Approach all guests at the end of their round to clean their clubs and assist in returning their golf carts.
  • Follow all specified procedures for routine daily tasks, including collecting and cleaning range balls; storing, cleaning, and charging golf carts; removing trash from staging areas; and opening and closing the bag room and golf cart storage area.
  • Monitor the cleanliness, order, safety, and aesthetic quality of the property, including all equipment, and immediately report service needs.
  • Participate in the set up and breakdown of clubhouse of golf special events.
  • Transport golf carts to and from the cart staging and storage areas as needed.
  • Advise the supervisor of any customer complaints for professional resolution.
  • Be knowledgeable about all goods and services offered by the golf course and actively promote them to guests.
  • Engage in the daily cleaning and repairs/maintenance of the golf cart fleet, ensuring all records are kept properly.
  • Maintain and be responsible for the practice area, keeping range balls picked up by using the range picker in a safe and appropriate manner and cleaning the range balls as needed.
  • Issue and retrieve rental clubs for/from guests, and clean clubs after use, including verifying that all clubs are accounted for and stored properly.
  • Clean rental and guest’s shoes and change spikes when necessary.
  • Administer daily play policies as a Starter and Player Assistant on the golf course, and ensure the Pace of Play program is followed as requested.
  • Assist Cart Mechanics as requested.
  • Promote & comply with all policies and procedures of Temecula Creek Inn.
  • Immediately report all suspicious occurrences and hazardous conditions.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and safety of work areas at all times.
  • Practice safe work habits at all times to avoid injury to self and others, including the safe operation of all power-driven machinery.
  • Ensure safe work practices of all Golf staff, including compliance with company and departmental safety rules and regulations and the proper use and handling of all relevant equipment and machinery.
  • Attend all mandatory meetings as directed.
  • Perform other tasks, including cross-training, as directed.
