About The Position

Provide friendly, helpful, and courteous service to guests and fellow team members. Perform daily or scheduled preventative maintenance on gaming devices, including validator units, ticket printers, and card readers. Follow machine entry and repair procedures to proactively identify or prevent equipment issues. Maintain and repair electronic circuitry for all slot-related equipment. Safeguard all assigned assets during installation, builds, conversions, and reconfigurations. Use approved electronic test equipment for diagnostics and repairs. Diagnose faulty equipment and troubleshoot to the sub-system level (e.g., hopper, comparator, MPU board). Safely operate shop equipment including hand tools, welding tools, soldering equipment, and test devices. Maintain accurate documentation including repair logs, shift logs, daily reports, and JMRs. Comply with gaming regulations, compact requirements, and departmental SOPs. Maintain predetermined stock levels of validators, ticket printers, and card readers. Complete machine moves and assigned projects. Interact professionally with other departments. Assist with validator software upgrades as released by vendors. Perform additional duties as needed to support operational success.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Virginia Lottery Gaming License.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate degree in electronics, trade school certification, or two years of related experience preferred.
  • One year of Slot Department experience strongly preferred.
