About The Position

Responsible for the preventive maintenance, repairs and maintenance, and troubleshooting of all slot machines. Test function of electronic assemblies, components, and parts according to established procedures.

Requirements

High school diploma or general education diploma (GED).
Electrical/mechanical experience relating to diagnosing, troubleshooting component failures on comparative equipment; or two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted.
An aptitude test may be given to test knowledge, skills and ability.
Mescalero Apache Tribal preference; bicultural experience preferred.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a gaming license.

Responsibilities

Repairs malfunctioning slot machines.
Operates electronic test equipment as required to facilitate repairs.
Uses small tools to effect installation and repair of slot machines and other equipment.
Prepares records and reports describing types of repair work and preventive maintenance performed.
Replaces defective components or repairs defective wiring after testing.
Cleans slot areas as required.
May have to perform other duties as assigned.
Adheres to all regulatory, departmental, and casino policies and procedures, and to the Casino Internal Control Structure.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a gaming license.
Provide guests with directions or other venue information.
Act upon all comments/complaints in a prompt, professional and friendly manner.
Shares with next shift the information needed for them to succeed.
Listens to others without interruption; acts on their feedback when possible.

Reports all guest complaints and compliments to Supervisor or Manager.
