About The Position

This position is responsible for the repair and maintenance of all slot equipment. The Slot Tech will perform repairs, overhauls, and preventative maintenance, including cleaning, on all slot machines on property. They will also perform the initial set-up and check-out of new slot machines, and be responsible for the break-down, relocation, and set-up of relocated slot machines and stands. The Slot Tech will respond to slot machines in a timely manner to resolve guest complaints regarding technical problems. They will verify that all slot games communicate accurately with internal systems for accounting purposes, and research and resolve issues that arise. The Slot Tech will notify Slot Performance Supervisor and/or Slot Performance Manager of pertinent issues, as needed, and maintain slot floor security by notifying department management of any suspicious activity. A working knowledge of all local jurisdictional gaming laws (federal, state, and local) and attendant regulations, as well as company internal controls, is required. The Slot Tech will participate in slot department special projects in a team environment by interpreting gaming documents, gathering materials necessary to complete the project, including RAM clears, key chipping, machine moves, conversions, and upgrades. A working knowledge of all games is necessary to perform repairs and/or preventative maintenance. Additionally, the Slot Tech must consistently demonstrate superior customer service skills to external and internal guests by displaying Spotlight on Success behaviors and FOCUS skills. They must maintain an upbeat, positive attitude, friendly and helpful demeanor, positive energy and enthusiasm from one interaction to the next. This includes utilizing smiles and frequent eye contact and friendly tone of voice to project warmth and friendliness. The Slot Tech will create an atmosphere of luck and celebrate customer wins, be ready to serve and well informed of daily facility hours of operation, promotional programs and any other relevant valuable guest information; build relationships by greeting guests with a warm, friendly verbal greeting. They will anticipate the needs of the guest and provide fast, flawless service, execute all service programs to assure prioritization of service to very best guests, check for satisfaction and properly use the Service Recovery process to resolve problems when they exist. The Slot Tech will promote Caesars Rewards programs and Caesars Rewards registration and membership, and provide a warm farewell and thank guests for visiting. They will promote Harrah's and always project Harrah's in a positive light to guests.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • One to two years slot maintenance and/or slot floor experience and/or related experience and training.
  • Is able to work in smoke filled environment
  • Is able to sit and stand for prolonged periods of time.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain the appropriate license through the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board.

Nice To Haves

  • Electronics experience and/or degree preferred.
  • Minimum of one year slot maintenance experience preferred.
