About The Position

The Slot Shift Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the slot department operations during their assigned shift. This role involves performing all functions of supervised positions, managing the slot operation, providing complimentary services to guests, and scheduling personnel. The supervisor also approves jackpot payouts and fills, greets guests, handles guest complaints, and is responsible for keys. Maintaining knowledge of property events, attending mandatory meetings and training, and upholding confidentiality are key aspects of the role. The position requires sensitivity to Native American Culture and adherence to Leech Lake Gaming Human Resource Policy, Departmental Policy Manual, Tribal Internal Controls (TICs), and other applicable regulations, while securing the assets of Leech Lake Gaming and the Leech Lake Band of Ojibwe. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Previous supervisory and slot experience.
  • Excellent time management, organizational, public relations and communications skills.
  • Ability to resolve conflicts efficiently and professionally.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, rotating shifts, weekends and holidays.
  • Strong math skills.
  • Must meet State Compact licensing requirements.
  • Pass criminal background check.
  • Submit to random drug testing.
  • Physically capable of remaining on feet for long periods of time.
  • High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED).
  • Must have computer skills.
  • Must meet Tribal/State compact licensing requirements, pass criminal background check and submit to drug testing.

Responsibilities

  • Attend and/or facilitate all mandatory meetings and training.
  • Maintain confidentiality at all times.
  • Be sensitive to Native American Culture.
  • Operate within the parameters of the Leech Lake Gaming Human Resource Policy, Departmental Policy Manual and all Tribal Internal Controls (TICs), and all other applicable regulations.
  • Secure the assets of Leech Lake Gaming and the Leech Lake Band of Ojibwe.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
