Position Summary: The Slot Preventative Maintenance Technician performs routine inspections and maintenance to proactively ensure slot machines function smoothly.

Requirements

High School Diploma / GED; Recognize Equivalent of a High School Diploma (RED) or Foreign High School Diploma (FHD).
Must possess excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to foster a supportive and enabling team environment.
Must be able to work various shifts and flexible hours.
This position requires walking, kneeling, bending, and stooping each shift and to be able to lift 50 lbs. and use an “in ear” communication device daily.
Ensure the security and integrity of all slot machines, keys, radios, and casino property.
Must be willing to work in a smoking environment.
Must be willing to adhere to company health and safety measures.

Responsibilities

Promotes superior guest service.
Maintains, and perpetuates a positive organizational culture according to the principles of the Spirit of Tâlícn and the Core Values of ilani.
Complete preventative maintenance on the slot machines each shift. This includes cleaning & vacuuming game cabinets, replacing filters, fans, monitors, as well as bill validator and printer maintenance.
Perform basic trouble shooting and repairs, such as fixing jammed ticket printers or replacing minor parts.
Replace consumable items (e.g., ticket paper, bulbs, batteries).
Report any issues to the tech supervisor in a timely manner.
Must be able to concentrate on the duties and responsibilities and learn about the parts and how it keeps the game up for play.
As the PM Tech completes each bank of games, all records of PM work are noted in a detailed report on their shift work for each night.
Ensure the security and integrity of all slot machines, keys, radios, and casino property.
Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
Performs other duties as assigned.
