About The Position

The Slot Floor Cashier is responsible for providing exceptional service to casino visitors, redeeming payout tickets, and monitoring the operation of electronic gaming devices. This role requires a positive attitude, adherence to casino policies and appearance standards, and the ability to resolve customer disputes effectively. The cashier will ensure the cleanliness and functionality of machines and equipment, maintain compliance with all regulations, and promote outstanding customer relations. Regular attendance and adherence to the Eye, Hi, Goodbye program are essential.

  • Demonstrates an upbeat and outgoing demeanor while on the casino floor.
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • May require the knowledge, skills, and abilities to work with personal computers.
  • Must be able to work effectively with peers, staff members, and regulatory agency personnel.
  • Limited computer skills to include effective working knowledge of Microsoft Office Products.
  • Written and oral communication skills required.
  • Ability to solve problems and deal with a variety of situations where only limited standardization exists.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

  • Technical school or formal apprenticeship may be required.

Responsibilities

  • Redeems payout tickets for customers in accordance with casino policies.
  • Provides directions, assistance, and/or information to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Monitors the operation of all electronic gaming devices on the casino floor.
  • Ensures appearance of machines and equipment is maintained in a clean and functional manner.
  • Resolves customer disputes in accordance with authority or contacts a senior for assistance.
  • Ensures compliance with all applicable regulations, laws, internal policies/procedures, and control protocols.
  • Promotes outstanding customer relations.
  • Ensures compliance with all casino and cash control policies, practices, and protocols.
  • Performs other related duties as may be assigned by reporting senior.
