About The Position

The Slot Floor Cashier is responsible for providing exceptional service to casino visitors, redeeming payout tickets, and ensuring customer satisfaction. This role involves monitoring electronic gaming devices, maintaining machine appearance, resolving customer disputes, and ensuring compliance with all casino policies and regulations. The position requires a positive attitude, strong communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • May require technical school or formal apprenticeship.
  • May require the knowledge, skills, and abilities to work with personal computers.
  • Must be able to work effectively with peers, staff members, and regulatory agency personnel.
  • Limited computer skills to include effective working knowledge of Microsoft Office Products.
  • Written and oral communication skills required.
  • Ability to solve problems and deal with a variety of situations where only limited standardization exists.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Responsibilities

  • Portray a positive attitude under all circumstances and represent the core values of Apache Casino Hotel.
  • Provide directions, assistance, and information to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Redeem payout tickets for customers in accordance with casino policies.
  • Provide support and service to casino visitors.
  • Understand and comply with established appearance standards, attendance policy, and the Eye-Hi-Goodbye program.
  • Monitor the operation of all electronic gaming devices on the casino floor to ensure maximum customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure machines and equipment are maintained in a clean and functional manner.
  • Resolve customer disputes in accordance with authority or contact a senior for assistance.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations, laws, internal policies/procedures, and control protocols.
  • Demonstrate an upbeat and outgoing demeanor while on the casino floor.
  • Promote outstanding customer relations.
  • Ensure compliance with all casino and cash control policies, practices, and protocols.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by reporting senior.
  • Regular attendance is required.
