About The Position

Under direct supervision of the Slot Compliance Administrator, provides assistance as it pertains to Slot Machine Compliance to ensure that all Federal, State and Community gaming laws and regulations are adhered to.

Requirements

• Experience equivalent to one year full-time gaming regulatory or closely related work involving slot machine conversions, installs, moves and upgrades.
• Must possess a valid gaming license/certification from the State of Arizona and /or the Ak-Chin Indian Community Gaming Commission.
• Must have a valid Arizona Driver's License and be able to meet the Community's insurance carrier requirements.
• Must successfully complete a background check.
• Knowledge of Federal, State and Tribal gaming regulations.
• Knowledge of the Ak-Chin Indian Community Gaming Compact.
• Knowledge of Casino internal controls and operational procedures.
• Knowledge of the National Indian Gaming Commission Minimum Internal Control Standards.
• Knowledge of the National Indian Gaming Commission Minimum Internal Control Standards as it pertains to Gaming Machines.
• Knowledge of documentation/record keeping principles and practices.
• Knowledge of public relations/customer service practices and procedures.
• Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, and GroupWise.
• Skill in written and oral communication necessary for coordination with the Arizona Department of Gaming, Harrah's Ak-Chin Slot Operations, GLI and Slot Vendors.
• Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships wit Federal, State, and Tribal regulatory agencies, upper management, co-workers, and the general public.
• Skill in observing employees for machine compliance with gaming regulations.
• Skill in observing/monitoring employees to ensure compliance with internal controls, and management practices and procedures.
• Skill in investigating matters as it pertains to Slot Machine concerns and issues.

Responsibilities

• Provides assistance to the Slot Compliance Administrator in matters pertaining to Slot Operations and the Ak-Chin Tribal Gaming Agency.
• Provides assistance to the Slot Compliance Administrator as it pertains to slot projects including but not limited to slot machine conversions, installs, moves and upgrades.
• Provides assistance in updating Agency shipments devices and information including gaming machines, game EPROMS, BV chips, mastercom, etc.
• Assist the Slot Compliance Administrator in providing the Arizona Department of Gaming with applicable machine information (i.e. location, asset number, game name, serial number and EPROM information.
• Provide machine information to Agent Staff.
• Provide assistance in completing appropriate paperwork when shipments arrive.
• Provide assistance in kobetroning EPROMS in comparison to GLI letter and /or GLI listing.
• Provide assistance to generate appropriate paperwork for installs and conversions for Agent Staff to use (Slot Access Form).
• Provide forms with completed information for Agent Staff during ADG Certification.
• Provide assistance to maintain files for machines and conversions; consisting of Harrah's Slot Control Worksheet, GLI letter, ADG Reports, PAR sheet and Access form for active Slot Files.
• Assist Agent Staff or complete slot projects during ADG Certification.
• Provide assistance to maintain database of Slot Floor, including stand & asset numbers, denomination, game name, percentages, serial number, all EPROM and installation data for active and inactive slots.
• Provide assistance to maintain listing of Routine Slot Inspections completed by Agent Staff.
• Provide assistance to maintain letters of jurisdictional approval from GLI.
• Provide assistance to maintain files of Customer and Agency Notifications from Slot Vendors with respect to current gaming devices.
