About The Position

The Slot Attendant is responsible for providing guest service on the slot gaming floor, paying out jackpots, and maintaining player terminals. This role requires adherence to all regulatory agencies, policies, and procedures, as well as upholding the company's SMILE service standards and Core Values. The attendant must maintain a positive attitude, repair and maintain video player terminals, proactively identify and solve issues on the slot floor, and follow up with the Slot Manager. They will also walk the gaming area to assist guests, maintain cleanliness, prepare W-2G forms for jackpots, pay jackpots, ensure machines are operational by keeping them filled with tickets, and may perform delegated office work. Additionally, the role involves assisting in maintaining gaming floor security, staying updated on promotions and events, communicating information to guests, encouraging new guests to sign up for the players club, and attending departmental meetings. The position requires the ability to work shift work, holidays, weekends, and special events, along with performing additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age
  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Electronics experience preferred
  • Excellent guest service skills
  • Ability to work independently and use good judgment
  • Must be able to multi-task
  • Must be able to work shift work, holidays, weekends, and special events
  • Must be 18 years of age to obtain and maintain a License B with Spokane Tribal Gaming Commission
  • Attend required training sessions offered by the Casinos
  • Perform the duties described in compliance with local laws and regulations
  • Take the necessary steps to ensure minors are not allowed to gamble or loiter in gambling areas, drink alcoholic beverages, or purchase tobacco
  • Have knowledge of the ordinances, regulations, laws, policies, and procedures relating to the team members department
  • Consult Internal Control Procedures and Policy Manuals for guidance
  • Report illegal activity to Security or the appropriate levels of Management
  • Submit to a pre-employment drug test

  • Performing delegated office work
  • Assisting in maintaining gaming floor security by notifying Management and Security of suspicious activity
  • Staying up to date on current promotions and events
  • Communicating information and instructions to guests
  • Prompting new guests to sign onto our players club
  • Attending regularly scheduled departmental meetings
  • Working shift work, holidays, weekends, and special events
  • Performing additional duties as assigned
