Slot Attendant
About The Position
The Slot Attendant position is responsible for resolving minor machine issues and verifying payouts to provide courteous and efficient guest services. This role requires performing quality work within deadlines, interacting professionally with team members, customers, and suppliers, and working effectively as a team contributor. The attendant must also work independently while communicating and coordinating efforts with others, and maintain strict confidentiality of privileged, proprietary, guest, and employer information. Adherence to all work rules, policies, procedures, and safety standards is mandatory.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Requires problem solving skills, and the ability to communicate effectively.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain the required Gaming License.
Nice To Haves
- Cash handling experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Respond quickly and courteously to requests for service.
- Provide exceptional guest service.
- Explain promotions and slot machine features to guests when needed.
- Provide cash exchanges and payouts to guests following jackpot procedures.
- Maintain an accurate accounting of funds issued.
- Become familiar with casino events and promotions in order to accurately inform guests.
- Perform minor machine maintenance such as loading paper, ribbon, or repairing bill jams.
- Communicate all guest complaints or concerns to the Slot Personnel Coordinator.
- Report all gaming machine malfunctions to the Shift Supervisor on duty in a timely manner.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
