About The Position

The Slot Attendant is responsible for building guest relations throughout every shift by talking with guests, making them feel welcome and comfortable, and inviting them back. This role involves observing all activity on the casino floor, knowing the various types of slot machines, and being able to identify and correct machine malfunctions. The attendant will accurately pay jackpots and other monetary transactions, maintain monetary and paperwork accuracy, and complete all government reporting. They must also be knowledgeable about guest alcohol limitations and company policy regarding these limitations. The position requires keeping the work area clean and orderly, adhering to ethical standards, and handling routine guest complaints and incidents with discretion to maintain positive guest relationships. Flexibility in scheduling, including late nights, weekends, and holidays, is necessary as shifts may change. The role also includes performing other duties as assigned.

  • Handle routine guest complaints and incidents and exhibit the appropriate discretion to identify situations requiring the attention of supervisory personnel - seek to resolve all situations in a manner that maintains positive guest relationships.
  • Perform other duties as assigned or reasonably requested by any member of management.
