About The Position

Responsible for servicing the gaming floor and offering superior guest service. This role involves ensuring compliance with regulations, performing jackpot and fill procedures, and maintaining accurate documentation. The Slot Attendant actively promotes player card usage, greets guests and team members warmly, and conducts themselves professionally as a role model. They must stay informed about promotions and events, participate in housekeeping duties, and assist in training new team members and the general preventative maintenance of gaming machines. Maintaining clear communication, attending meetings, completing training, and upholding confidentiality are also key aspects of this position. The role may require working at other properties as needed and performing other assigned duties within the scope of the position. The Slot Attendant is expected to uphold the Odawa Casino Mission statement: 'We create excitement and memories.'

Requirements

Must have at least three (3) months prior experience as a slot attendant.
Must be flexible with shifts and days off with the ability to work overtime, weekends, holidays, special events, etc., as needed.
Must possess basic math and computer skills.
Prior experience using SYNKROS.
Must read, write and speak English fluently.
Must have basic math skills.
Must be able to communicate effectively both written and verbal.
Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time.
Must be able to repeatedly bend, reach and lift.
Must have the ability to be frequently exposed to heat, cold, noise and tobacco smoke.
Must be able to repeatedly lift and transport up to twenty-five (25) pounds.
Must be able to obtain a gaming license in accordance to the regulations established by the LTBB Gaming Regulatory Commission, and be able to serve in the position under any other applicable law.

Responsibilities

Greet all guests and Team Members in a friendly, open manner.
Conducts oneself in a positive and professional manner, acting as a role model for all Team Members.
Maintain knowledge of all current and upcoming promotions and events at Odawa Casino Resort.
Actively participates in housekeeping duties.
Assists in the training of new team members.
Assists in the general preventative maintenance of gaming machines.
Maintains a clear line of communication between team members.
Attend all meetings as required.
Complete all required training satisfactorily.
Maintains strict confidentiality of enterprise information.
Work at other properties as needed.
Performs all other duties assigned within the scope of the position.
