About The Position

J. R. COLE INDUSTRIES is seeking an experienced SLITTER/ REWIND OPERATOR with a minimum of 2-4 years of experience on Arpeco, Rotoflex, or CEI Slitter/Rewinders. This is a full-time position on the 2nd or 3rd shift, with overtime as needed based on production. The role involves setting up and operating the slitter rewinder, ensuring quality production that meets customer expectations. The position is located at the JRCI- Label Division in Charlotte, NC. J. R. COLE INDUSTRIES is a family-owned, independent converter with over 45 years of growth, specializing in pressure-sensitive roll labels and folding cartons.

Requirements

Minimum 2 – 4 years experience on Arpeco, Rotoflex or CEI Slitter/Rewinders
Must be able to read a ruler
Must be able to push/slide rolls on to and off machine with portable roll loader. Rolls may weigh up to 55 lbs.
Must be able to read and write to comprehend job jacket instructions and record production information.
Be capable of accessing production data into the manufacturing software system terminal located at the rewinder
Must possess general knowledge of mathematics and ability to work independently.
Pass pre-employment physical, drug screen, and criminal background check.
2 years of Slitter/ Rewind experience (Required)

Responsible for set-up and production on the slitter rewinder
Responsible for quality production, producing work that meets our customer’s quality expectations
