About The Position

To operate Slitter effectively to meet or exceed customers' requirements in a timely manner. This role is a 2nd shift opportunity (Monday – Thursday, 3pm-1am).

Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Attention to Detail
• Must be able to lift 50lbs.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Ability to complete visual inspections.
• Math aptitude.
• Can successfully utilize and interpret all measuring tools.
• Ability to solve problems.

Responsibilities

• Interpret and follow production schedule.
• Perform setups for each work order.
• Operate machinery at or above current standards and meet customer specifications.
• Manage and handle materials.
• Provide information to management to aid in process improvement.
• Accurate completion of required documentation in adherence with ISO and IATF certifications.
• Perform necessary routine and preventive maintenance as directed.
• Able to work as an individual or on a project team.
• Always maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• All required guards and safety equipment are properly used.
• Various duties assigned by supervisor; includes working in other areas when appropriate.
• Operate Powered Industrial Vehicles.
• Operate a jib crane.
• Follow all corporate and departmental safety policies and procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.
