Slitter Operator/ NIGHTS
About The Position
Join Millennium Print Group as a Slitter Operator! We’re looking for motivated and detail-oriented individuals to support slitter operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. In this role, you’ll operate production equipment, support quality inspections, and work closely with a team to ensure products meet customer and company standards. Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1+ year of manufacturing, industrial, or machine operation experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
- Basic computer and MIS system proficiency
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to perform basic math calculations
Nice To Haves
- Experience in an ISO 9001 environment is a plus
Responsibilities
- Operate slitter equipment to produce high-quality card products
- Review production schedules and job specifications prior to production runs
- Set up jobs and make machine adjustments to support production efficiency
- Inspect product samples and maintain quality standards throughout production
- Troubleshoot basic mechanical and operational issues
- Record production data, downtime, and shift information accurately
- Communicate effectively with team members and leadership during shift transitions
- Maintain compliance with safety standards, ISO requirements, and company procedures
