About The Position

This position is responsible for operating machinery to ensure the continuous flow of product thru the production process and insuring proper ingredients/supplies are being used on the line. Responsible for monitoring and adjusting machine settings as needed and notifying supervisor if machines should require maintenance while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.

Requirements

Willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.
Basic math skills.
Able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
Able to work on and around machinery and chemicals.
Able to perform tasks for periods of 8 hours on concrete floor, including standing, stooping, walking, climbing, and lifting.
Able to work in temperatures less than or equal to 35 degrees Fahrenheit for a minimum of 8 hours.
Willing to pinch/grip product and place into specified location.
Must not have more than 4 attendance occurrences.
Must not have a disciplinary suspension on file in the past 6 months.
Must be in your current position for a minimum of six (6) months unless this job is a higher class than you currently hold.
