Requirements

Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) or Registered Sleep Technologist (RST) credential, or eligibility to obtain certification within established timelines
Current BLS certification
Strong commitment to patient-centered care, quality outcomes, and teamwork
Passion for advancing sleep health and improving patients' quality of life

Responsibilities

Perform and score overnight diagnostic polysomnography studies
Conduct PAP titration and split-night studies
Perform MSLT and MWT testing, as appropriate
Apply and monitor EEG, EOG, EMG, ECG, respiratory, and oxygen saturation sensors
Monitor patients throughout testing and interpret physiologic data in real time
Recognize and respond appropriately to sleep-related events and patient needs
Educate patients on sleep testing procedures and PAP therapy
Collaborate closely with sleep physicians and multidisciplinary care teams
Ensure high-quality data collection and compliance with accreditation standards
Mentor students and new team members while helping foster a culture of excellence
