This position is primarily responsible for data collection and analysis of sleep studies in patients 3 years of age and older. The Sleep Technician prepares and applies electrodes, sensors, and therapies including, but not limited to, positive airway pressure, supplemental oxygen, upper airway stimulation, and home sleep testing devices. They identify and document patient events including, but not limited to, sleep stages, respiratory events, EKG arrhythmias, positional changes, and therapeutic interventions. The role also involves correcting poor study/signal quality timely and appropriately and performing common office tasks encountered in a medical setting including, but not limited to, data entry, scheduling, and messaging.
