Independently performs routine and specialized overnight and day sleep studies. This role involves explaining testing procedures to patients, monitoring their comfort and safety, adjusting equipment, preparing patients for testing, and maintaining equipment. The Sleep Tech II/CRT is also responsible for scoring sleep studies, generating reports, and staying updated on current trends in sleep disorders. Adaptability and flexibility are crucial for handling emergencies, changing workloads, and unexpected events. Communication with colleagues and supervisors, adherence to standard precautions, and participation in department meetings are also key aspects of the role. The position requires maintaining performance, patient and employee satisfaction, and financial standards, as well as adhering to DCH Behavioral Standards and ensuring patient, visitor, and employee safety.
