Sleep Medicine Physician Associate
About The Position
The Insomnia and Sleep Institute of Arizona is a well-established and growing practice with three convenient locations throughout the Scottsdale area. We specialize in the diagnosis and treatment of chronic sleep disorders and are committed to providing exceptional patient care in a collaborative and professional environment. We are seeking a Physician Associate (PA-C) with experience in sleep medicine or a strong interest in learning the field. The PA-C will work closely with a fellowship-trained supervising physician who practices full-time sleep medicine. This role involves treatment planning and management of patients with chronic sleep disorders, requiring excellent communication skills, compassion, and a patient-centered approach.
Requirements
- Current Arizona PA License
- Prior experience in sleep medicine or willingness to undergo training
Nice To Haves
- 1+ year experience with EMR systems
Responsibilities
- Conduct patient evaluations and follow-up visits for sleep-related conditions
- Develop and implement treatment plans under physician supervision
- Educate patients on sleep disorders, treatment options, and lifestyle modifications
- Document patient encounters accurately in EMR systems
- Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to ensure high-quality care
