About The Position
Mattress Firm Sleep Experts help customers find mattresses and sleep products that meet their needs, supporting the company’s goal of helping people sleep well so they can live well. The Sleep Expert elevates the in-store customer experience by serving as a trusted sleep authority, providing product and technical knowledge, and offering best-in-class products. The role uses digital tools and Mattress Firm selling programs to support a seamless omnichannel experience and create an engaging environment centered on the customer. It includes individual sales and KPI performance, maintaining customer relationships before and after purchase, and using social media to support brand awareness and sales. Compensation is listed at $65,000–$79,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience; additional bonus opportunities may be available for eligible roles at the Company’s discretion. The position requires legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship and proof of eligibility to work.

Responsibilities
- Cultivate strong customer relationships and create an environment where the customer is always at the center.
- Provide customers with technical and product knowledge and serve as a subject matter expert.
- Execute Mattress Firm selling programs using digital tools and support a seamless omnichannel experience.
- Drive individual sales performance and KPIs while demonstrating company values and supporting company initiatives.
- Maintain customer relationships during and after purchase, including resolving customer issues and sending delivery reminders.
- Maintain awareness of competitors, their advertisements, and their services.
- Use social media to positively impact brand awareness and increase sales.
- Lift, push, or pull more than 50 pounds.
