About The Position

Sleep Consultants promote and sell mattresses displayed on the showroom floor. They work directly with customers and employees across all departments, follow up with customer orders and inquiries, and assist with any problems associated with merchandise in conjunction with customer service and warehouse operations. This role also involves working on an organizational level with other departments to ensure customer needs are met, describing merchandise and explaining its use, operation, and care to customers. The position requires knowledge of methods for showing, promoting, and selling products, and utilizing excellent customer relations. Additional duties may include running the cashier till, auditing the safe, making bank deposits, loading and unloading transfers and pickups, and any other duties as directed by management.

Requirements

• Ability to lift merchandise of 10lbs
• Must be able to walk or stand for long periods of time
• Must be able to listen and respond to customer’s needs
• Ability to communicate effectively with team members
• Positive attitude when working with internal and external customers
• Knowledge of employment and safety procedures

Nice To Haves

• Sales experience preferred, not required
