SLEEP CONSULTANT (OKC Outlets) Non-Safety Sensitive
About The Position
This position involves promoting and selling mattresses on the showroom floor, working directly with customers and employees across all departments. The role requires following up on customer orders and inquiries, assisting with merchandise issues in conjunction with customer service and warehouse operations, and collaborating with other departments to meet customer needs. The Sleep Consultant will answer customer questions about products, prices, availability, and uses, emphasize product features based on customer needs, and prepare sales tickets. They will also assist customers in making product selections, recommend and locate merchandise, and describe product use, operation, and care. Additionally, the role includes running the cashier till, auditing the safe, making bank deposits, and loading/unloading transfers and pickups. Any other duties as directed by management are also part of the role.
Requirements
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members
- Positive attitude when working with customers
- Ability to assist in loading mattresses (lift up to 50 lbs)
- Advanced computer skills
- Knowledge of employment and merchandise handling procedures

Responsibilities

- Assist customers in making product selections based on customers specifications
- Recommend, select, and help locate or obtain merchandise based on customer needs
- Describe merchandise and explain use, operation, and care of merchandise to customers
- Running cashier till; auditing safe
- Making bank deposits
- Load and unload transfers and pickups
- Any other duties as directed by management
