Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Secret Clearance required to apply
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment working cross functionally with other disciplines including industrial engineering, planning, scheduling, Quality Assurance &/or production planning
  • Experience with some combination of the following: experience with manufacturing processes and procedures including: fabrication, assembly, machining, coatings, and electrical in several disciplines including composites, metallics, machining, bonded assemblies &/or installations.

Nice To Haves

  • Degree in Manufacturing Engineering or other related technical field
  • 9 years of professional experience; or 7 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree.
  • Understanding of systems including SAP and SFM
  • Experience with Manufacturing Plan development
  • Experience with MRP system or SAP or other Manufacturing Execution System (MES) application
  • Experience leading a small technical team
  • Experience supporting various projects and coordinating activities related to the full life cycle of projects from conception to delivery
  • Experience with planning functions including Computer Aided Production Planning (CAPP) and Shop Order Maintenance (SOM)
  • Working knowledge of one or more organizations including: Operations, IT, Planning, Production Control, ERP, MRP, Quality or systems integration.
  • Effective communication skills and demonstrated ability to successfully work with other team members including Operations, Production Control, Quality Assurance, IT, Planning and Engineering.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive issues to closure and develop preventative action plan to limit failures in the future.
  • Demonstrated ability to solve logistical issues and lead efforts to drive mission success.
  • Demonstrated understanding of engineering blueprints, process specifications and manufacturing planning.
  • Experience working with fighter aircraft in a manufacturing environment

Responsibilities

  • Creating Manufacturing Bill of Materials (MBOMs).
  • Creating and administering manufacturing plans for make and buy parts, materials masters and planning tracking mechanisms.
  • Manufacturing plan types.
