Requirements

Bachelor's degree
Secret Clearance required to apply
Experience in a manufacturing environment working cross functionally with other disciplines including industrial engineering, planning, scheduling, Quality Assurance &/or production planning
Experience with some combination of the following: experience with manufacturing processes and procedures including: fabrication, assembly, machining, coatings, and electrical in several disciplines including composites, metallics, machining, bonded assemblies &/or installations.

Nice To Haves

Degree in Manufacturing Engineering or other related technical field
9 years of professional experience; or 7 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree.
Understanding of systems including SAP and SFM
Experience with Manufacturing Plan development
Experience with MRP system or SAP or other Manufacturing Execution System (MES) application
Experience leading a small technical team
Experience supporting various projects and coordinating activities related to the full life cycle of projects from conception to delivery
Experience with planning functions including Computer Aided Production Planning (CAPP) and Shop Order Maintenance (SOM)
Working knowledge of one or more organizations including: Operations, IT, Planning, Production Control, ERP, MRP, Quality or systems integration.
Effective communication skills and demonstrated ability to successfully work with other team members including Operations, Production Control, Quality Assurance, IT, Planning and Engineering.
Demonstrated ability to drive issues to closure and develop preventative action plan to limit failures in the future.
Demonstrated ability to solve logistical issues and lead efforts to drive mission success.
Demonstrated understanding of engineering blueprints, process specifications and manufacturing planning.
Experience working with fighter aircraft in a manufacturing environment

Responsibilities

Creating Manufacturing Bill of Materials (MBOMs).
Creating and administering manufacturing plans for make and buy parts, materials masters and planning tracking mechanisms.
Manufacturing plan types.
