Maintain compliance standards through the review and completion of various tasks. Requires the flexibility to move between processing demographic information on the servicing systems, to physical requirements required to operate machines, trouble shooting, and routing of mail and shipments. Helps assist the team with special projects. Carries out special requests for our customers. Works closely with leadership to research and reconcile any problems that arise in the department. Participate in meetings and represent the area on committees and project teams. Serve as a mentor and resource for management and staff. Due to the nature of the work, this position is a fully IN OFFICE position, working in the Nelnet Center office building.

Requirements

  • Must reside in the United States and be a United States citizen
  • This process involves collecting and providing 7 years of previous work experience, previous addresses, and contact information of people that can verify this information
  • Must not be delinquent or in default with any federal debt

Nice To Haves

  • Associate’s degree preferred.
  • 2 years customer service experience and/or general office experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of Loan Servicing and/or Originations systems preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to Continuous Process Improvement.
  • Ensure integrity of data and information.
  • Perform quality control functions.
  • Update information on accounts in the Loan Servicing and/or Originations systems.
  • Perform other tasks related to resolving customer needs.
  • Minimal contact customers on accounts.
  • Maintain accounts & reports regarding the quality and compliance processes and procedures.
  • Serve as a resource person within team.
  • Provide feedback regarding performance observations and recommend resolution/training for identified performance shortfalls.
  • Research and correct issues in an appropriate time period as designated by department standards.
